The second public workshop for the Town of Westport’s Comprehensive Plan Update project took place on August 12, 2026, from 6:00-7:30PM at the County Agricultural and Youth Center Building. The workshop hosted a total of 34 in-person attendees and was complemented by an online survey mirroring the information presented at the workshop that was open for feedback for three weeks after the event. The online survey received a total of 60 responses. The Workshop included a presentation summarizing progress to-date, including key themes identified through prior engagement efforts, and the draft recommendations. Attendees were encouraged to provide feedback to provide necessary revisions to the recommendations and to help prioritize them.
The following sections include a summary of the feedback received at both the in-person workshop and on the online survey. Responses are organized into feedback on the goals and actions (prioritization) and the regulatory framework for implementation.
